a scene from the movie...
ohhhh how I miss my scuba diving days!.....
What are the movie’s strong suits are the production design and cinematography, including the 3D visuals. Though the movie lacks credibility on the character level, I was convinced everything taking place was in a cave and not necessarily a set. After researching a bit about the making of the movie I found out that most of the scenes were filmed on sound stages, but on film, I was convinced otherwise. The way the characters have to squeeze, maneuver, climb, duck and swim puts us in a state of genuine tension and claustrophobia. These types of images were executed well enough that I felt the movie had no business resorting to cheap gimmicks like one character’s hair getting caught in a chain and their skin getting ripped off. I doubt anything this drastic or horror movie-like happened during the real life ordeal. (Yes, I closed my eyes during that scalp removing scene!)
tak suka tawww scene rambut tercabut dari kulit kepala sebab terlekat kat pulley...
Anyway, I would reccomend those of you who are nature lovers to go see this movie coz it kinds of remind you how formidable nature is against mankind at times. And there are a few heart touching scenes about father-son relationship that is worth watching!
Saturday morning sees us heading towards KL to try out a new activity that we have not yet experienced. ATV ride in the forest! Situated at Kemensah (yes, behind the Zoo Negara!), there is this adventure camp that offers a few types of packages and trail for ATV fans.
The first 10 minutes or so were spent on safety briefing and the way to handle the machinery. Then another 10 minutes to slowly ride around the premise to familiarise ourselves with our ride. Then we were off!
There we were in a row!
pose-pose yang orang lain tak mahu lihat kan?
dia yang terbabas....
all of us....
we came to this waterfall, known as Sofea Jane falls
apparently this falls got its name from the famous local artiste who once shot the movie Cinta Kita at this falls. If you Google it up in Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya site, it will surface as Air Terjun Batu Asah.
acara wajib! Mandi air terjun!
aksi "mercy killing"ala dalam filem Sanctum tu pun ada. Our favourite line is "... take me to the water"
I know, we are morbid!
saw a rambai hutan tree with lots of fruits nearby....
our ATV Guide, Halim offered to get us some to taste. Yeayyyy!
the fruit, up close and personal...
it tastes sourish and can be used in cooking as substitute to belimbing buluh, according to our guide..
all of us, at the end of the day, doing a bit of rock climbing! Hahaha....
So folks, that is about all for this post. Will try to update more often after this as my new maid is already here! Meaning that, I do not have to do too much household chores! Not that I'm a domestic goddes or anything like that, but 57 days without a maid was a VERY trying period for me, honestly!
So, ciao for now!

6 verses:
Gambar yg u letak caption "acara wajib! Mandi air terjun!" tu, I misread it as "acara mandi wajib..." and i was like "what the??!"
Hahahhaah!
Way to go, ma'am.. good adventure, ATV and ayaq torjoon...
Kami di sini belum kesana to try that ATV thingy..
Aunty Ahan,
ATV tu macam ada tempat boleh kucing bertenggek je. purrr....meow!
Nin,
Muahahahaha.... ngko kannn!
Kalo mandi tu mesti sinonim dgn wajib ker?
Haishhhh....
Ayah Wan,
Nanti boleh gi try ride an ATV. Bukan apa, nak be able to say "been there, done that" bila ditanya nanti!
CiS,
ATV ni mmg feline friendly lah! Ada tempat kucing bertenggek kat depan, kat belakang and the foot rest is quite big, can accomodate a cat each on the left and ride.
Mungkin kita akan lihat tattoo kucing2 dlm waktu terdekat ini?
Hi Versed Anggerik, wow! You an outdoorsy girl! Wayyyyy to go, young lady!
I still remember the jungle behind Zoo Negara, used to go there catch fish in the streams and small rivers.
Love your pics here.....next time must try skidoo in the snow.
I have not heard of that movie. My fault as I stopped reading the papers when I retired. Suda lost touch.
But looks like a good movie too, in 3D!
You have fun and stay young, Lee.
