Last of April....

How time flies erkkkk....?

It is the last days of April now.

In less than three weeks we will see the month of Syaaban, then Rejab and then Ramadhan, our holy fasting month.

Days are getting shorter, I feel. 24 hours is never enough to do all that needs to be done. Been existing on a 5 hour nightly sleep pattern lately.

What with not having an LA anymore, (yes, Safiza left our firm. For a greener pasture, I presume) I am reduced to a headless chicken running around, going to court, attending to MNS projects, working on the Lynas in-depth examination comittee, chauffering the kiddos to and fro school and running errands for my parents too!

ooooopppssss.... this is the headless horseman, not the headless chicken.
Can lah, uolls read the post, ignore the pics lah yer?

Its gonna be a long weekend, with the Labour Day holiday thrown in on Monday. I"m off to Langkawi with my other half and the kiddos. Hope to get some reprieve from all this hecticness (which was aptly pointed out by a friend, of my own doing!) Yes, I have a tendency to wanna do all things I have passion for and that puts a lot on my plate! But here's hoping Langkawi will "recharge" me and make me more prepared to tackle the weeks ahead!

no, this is not Langkawi and that is not a silhoutte of a helang at Dataran Langkawi...
like I said earlier, ignore the pics, just read the post!

7th of May will see us celebrating Earth Day at Esplanade Tanjung Api. This time round it will be a joint venture effort with Cargill Palm Oil Industries. Activities on that day will be cleaning up the esplanade, especially down by the beach where the tide brings in lots of litter and debris. This year also we will be planting 100 trees there. Yes, 100 tree in one morning! 30 ketapang, 20 penaga laut and 50 coconut trees. Its one of our biggest tree planting project so far and we do hope that it will make our planet Earth greener! Do come join us, if you are in Kuantan on the 7th May, 7:30am!

gambar ini tidak ada kena mengena dengan yang hidup atau yang mati, apa lagi post di blog ini....

So, that's that. I reckon this will be my last post for the month of April. I hope to get an LA to assist me soon, or I might just go bonkers trying to juggle all duties on my own. Wish me luck ehhhh?  I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

told you to ignore them pics didn't I?

I am starting to wonder how you cope! I am going a bit nuts over here! All the politics in MNS doesn't help either! Berpecah belah bagaikan rumahtangga porak peranda!

CO'78,

Didn't want to write abt the indide politics of MNS, lest I scare away potential members! But yes, them sticky politics is a big turn off!

Btw, do U know anybody who wants to leave KL and practise here in Kuantan? There's a vacancy here at my office. Civil litigation department with emphasis on debt collection!

CO'78,

I malas say anything lah about the politics in MNS lest I be labelled pro certain camp. I prefer to just stay in my state and do my stuffs here. Go down for council meeting every four months to do reporting only.

People who are apolitical like U and a few others, I keep as friends. The rest they remain to me as Council members or MNS members only!
