My 350th Post.....

Hi there my readers, silent or followers, friends or foe.

I started blogging (my very first post) on the 1st April 2008. It was an April Fool prank of mine, setting up a blog and blogging lah konon. You can read my very first post here.

Then, the habit of writing syok-syok sendiri kinda took off and pretty soon, by my 5th post, I already have got readers! Boy, was I amazed to know that some people wants to read about my mundane life and all the problems I am facing. (initially, this blog is where I come to whine and rant about my so imperfect life then).

Well today in October 2011, this is my 350th post! Wooohooo..... I have come a long way, I would say. Time sure flies when you are not aware of it as you write away.

Though I am writing this in a happy mood, I do admit blogging has not always been a bed of roses. I have been in situations where I got into spats with fellow bloggers before over postings or real life incidences. I have been critisized for what I wrote, lost friends over my beliefs and ideologies offended some readers and bloggers too at time.

But, it is with pride that I say, I have never removed or erased any of my postings even if it was heavily attacked or ridiculed. Heyyyy, it my baby. I gave birth to it, or the idea of it, in my mind and I'm gonna see it live here in the virtual world no matter how ugly it is.

I refuse to dwell on the negatives. I have had a great time blogging. There were times when I update very regularly, sharing my thots and feelings with all to read here. There were times too, that I went on a hiatus, just keeping my own counsel, not touching the lappie or posting anything about it. But time after time, it has been proven (for me at least) that blogging does do wonders for my soul.

It allows me to purge feelings and emotions, to rave and rant when I can't do it in real life, to poke fun at tight-ass individuals or just to share my random activities.

I do hope that I will live to post my 3,500th post. I do hope my fire to write will not be snuffed out midway life. I do hope to get to know more people on the blogosphere, to offend less people with my writings, to continue to have ideas to write here and never to be inclined to wipe out my blog. 

To all you readers out there, regulars or accidental stop bys, I thank you for coming here and paying tribute to my writings by reading. I know some who reads but NEVER leave comments, thank you too. For those I consider friends who will always comment on my posting, I am eternally grateful to you people who spur me on to write some more.

To the other social medias, like FB and Twitter that sometimes distracts me from this blog, I just want U to know, the blog is like a familiar old friend that I will keep coming back to no matter how exciting FB and Twitter can be. Because, here is all where it started......
