I just realized something... Abah, Along, Adik and Ahan. All the aces.

Also didn't know that so many pretty ladies are lawyers. If I need any defending, I'll know who to call :-)

Adda,

Baju dinner, as usual, is a Rifai creation.

He now makes busana muslimah too after model tua dia nih start donning the hijab. And, he has proved via his designs that even all covered up, U can still look elegant and stylish. Kannnnn?

Oldstock,

Yes, coincidentally we are all "A"s kannn? Nice kind of kebetulan....

I truly do hope that U will live your life with no use of lawyers defending U, pretty or not. Coz, frankly, that is the way to live....

Aunty Ahan,
Sometimes we need lawyer not defending, more for protection. Kan mencegah itu lebih baik??? Tak??? Anyway, Rifai boleh buat baju untuk meoww??? Nak juga bila ke red carpet sekali sekala tu.... purrr....meow!

VersedAnggerik said...

CiS,

I do agree that lawyers for protection part! Like I always advocate, cover all bases b4 any transaction so that U'll not need lawyers after transactions to litigate!

Yes, Rifai does make busana for meowssss too! If U want his number SMS me yer. Will pass his number to U. He goes down to KL too, to take orders and measurements, so U dun need to come down here for all that!

Glancing through blogs I usually visit I noticed this site which I had visited before. Not particularly interested in he green things I scrolled down and noticed some beautiful pictures. That of turtle's eggs looked all to familiar but sad to see the caption, 'turtle's eggs still being sold openly at Pasar Payang....what a shame!'

I live among the fishermen of Terengganu and know too well their fishing 'etiquette', if there is such a thing. Never kill certain fish, never take the very young fish, never this, never that .... Throw them back into the sea. We have no business to kill them.

They moan over indiscriminate trawling for everything alive, ranging from the very small fish to jelly fish and tirtles. On the other hand the new fishing methods bring money, more than the old traditional methods ever did.

Turtles are highly priced. Have you not heard of 'turtle soup', a delicacy in certain exclusive restaurants in the very capital of our country? Has any one said, 'Hey stop that. Put a ban on that.'

Turtle's eggs have been a natural delicacy, a gift of God to the poor folks of this coastal area and many other places. Collecting the eggs has been a way of livelihood for umpteen years. But never touch the mother turtles. Many eggs are hidden and hatched, a way nature replenishes itself. The eggs are halal. Is the soup, too?

Are we barking at the wrong tree because we want to ape the west where many of us go for our education? I learn from Quran more than from the West for my well-being. I am sad if someone chooses to say, "What a shame that old man is eating those sacred eggs." Imitating what I learnt from the West some half a century ago, I may lift two fingers up in response!

I do not mean to be disrespectful. You have posted interesting entries. Insya Aallah I will call again, if I may.
